ITINERARY
We start the tour to visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Somre. This is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located in the area of Angkor, it lies near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yasodharapura and Angkor Thom. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, the tourguide will take you to visit Kbal Spean and 1000 linga. Kbal Spean that refers to ‘Bridge Head’ in Khmer, is an ancient Angkorian site that lies in the northeast of Angkor in Cambodia. Commonly referred to as the ‘River of Thousand Lingas’ in English, it is a natural carved riverbed set amid a deep jungle.
After the tour, the car will transfer you back to the city. End of trip!
