ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Welcome to Hanoi! You will be met at the airport and transferred to hotel in Hanoi. Renowned as the “Paris of the East”, Hanoi is one of Asia’s most delightful cities. Rich in culture and history this diverse city draws its influences from both French and Chinese culture. The rest of day is yours to enjoy. Check in hotel and Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel then 08h30 a.m, we will pick you up at hotel and start Hanoi City Tour.
In the morning, we will visit: Tran Quoc Pagoda located on an east side isle of the West Lake (Tay Ho district), the Complex of President Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Stilt house). In addition, stop by One Pillar Pagoda to admire one of the 4 symbols of Hanoi. After that, we will go to the Imperial Academy – the first university in Vietnam. Literature lake, Khue Van Pavilion, stele house... are valuable highlight objects that you cannot ignore. Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, we proceed the tour to visit Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hoa Lo Prison, it was built when Indochina was an integral part of the French Empire. Partly destroyed in 1990, it is now a museum., as well as the Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword lake) – center of Hanoi with Turtle tower, Ngoc Son Temple.
16h30: Back to your hotel. Free and easy. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hoa Lu – Trang An (B/L)
7h30-08h30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.
9h30: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax
10h30: The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.
11h45: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.
13:00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system so that Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for New Version of Kong in 2016 – “ Skull Island “. Boat trip to visit Trang An to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as : Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), green river and natural view.
16:30 – 17:00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi
19:30: Arrive to Hanoi and get drop off at the Hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
7:45 – 8:15 : Shuttle bus and Tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi old quarter.
8:45 : Departure to Halong Bay for 3.5 hours.
10:15: Arrive in Hai Duong province , and have 20-30 minute short break.
12:00: Arrive to Tuan Chau Harbor.
12:20: Welcome to the cruise and enjoy welcome to drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check- in your cabin with air-conditioning.
12:30: Enjoy a special lunch with Vietnamese traditional dishes, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.
15:00: Visiting Sung Sot Cave (Surprising cave).
16:00: Our cruise will take you to the Titop Island, It is noted for having a viewpoint at its peak which affords splendid views all around Halong Bay or you can enjoy your swimming on romance sandy beach.
17:15: Come back to the Cruise then take a shower, Relax on sundeck, sunset watching in comfortable lounge chairs while drinking a cocktail or reading a book in the most magical moment.
18:00: Enjoy welcome sunset party and Cooking class. How to make fresh noodle roll, you can enjoy product which you make it.
Evening Relaxing:
19:00: Enjoy your dinner when sitting by overlooking sea view window in the night romantic Bay.
20:30: Playing some sports games like: Squid Fishing, Singing karaoke, or playing puzzle game. Overnight on the cruise in Halong Bay.
Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Danang – Hoi An (B/L)
6:00: Wake up in the early morning to see sunrise on sundeck .
7:00: Morning view of bay landscape with a cup of tea of coffee. Have breakfast
7:40: Start visiting Halong Bay Pearl Farm. The pearls in Halong are the most renowned in Vietnam. The process of farming and retrieving pearls takes years.
8:30: Do kayaking in Halong Bay, exploring the bay in your own
10:00: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.
10:45: Enjoy the lunch while Cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbour.
12:00: The Cruise is landing Halong Bay harbor, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.
12:30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.
14:30: Stopover in Hai Duong province for short break.
16:30: Arrive in Hanoi, car and driver will transfer you to the airport for flight to Danang.
Arrive Danang, pick up and transfer directly to Hoian Ancient Town. Check in hotel and free at leisure. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 6: Hoian – Leisure day (B)
Breakfast at hotel then you are free and easy to visit Hoian.
Overnight in Hoian.
Day 7: Hoian – Bana Hills – Golden Hand Bridge – Flight to Saigon (B/L)
07:30 a.m: Pick you up at hotel then depart to Ba Na Hills.
09:00: Arrive at the cable car station Suoi Mo, up the cable car route that achieves 4 world records.
09:30: Freedom check-in the 150-meter long "Golden Bridge" supported by the huge hands. Visit the Le Jardin, Debay Wine Cellar of French. Visit the Linh Ung pagoda, admire the 27m high Buddha statue, Loc Uyen Garden, Quan Am Cac. Continue to Gare Debay use the second cable car route to go to the top of Ba Na.
Tour guide will take guests to visit Fantasy Park, join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car, Ghost House...
11:30: Have lunch buffet at Restaurant
12:30: Freedom to rest. Conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m – Visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple. Enjoy the panorama view of the Da Nang City and Da Nang Bay
14:30: Return to cable car station and back to Da Nang
15:00: Shopping local specialities. Transfer directly to the airport for your flight to Saigon.
Arrive Saigon, you will be transferred to hotel in Sai Gon. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Sai Gon is a bustling, dynamic and industrious centre, the largest city in the country, the economic capital and the cultural trendsetter. Yet within the teeming metropolis are the timeless traditions and beauty of an ancient culture. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 8: Saigon City Tour and Cuchi Tunnels (B/L)
In the morning visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, Reunification Palace. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon trip to Cu Chi tunnels - a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists. The network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchen. Plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone". Today, start our trip, visitor can have chance to know how the tunnel was constructed, spend the next hours exploring the tunnels and war remnants, where you'll learn more about the conditions the people lived in, the hardships they faced, and the amazing ingenuity employed to maintain life in the tunnels, sample some of the simple cuisine that local fighters would have survived on, and have an opportunity to venture into the tunnels and explore the complex. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L/D)
Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and start the trip to My Tho. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking in the village paths to contemplate orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and Vietnamese folk music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Be rowed in a small sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business & bee-keeping farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at the local restaurant. Break time.
The afternoon is time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local people to experience their daily life in the Mekong delta. Relaxing on hammocks to enjoy the cool breeze is for those do not want to join the cycling trip. Proceed to Can Tho City and Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 10: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Saigon (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel then we take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit to Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole of region.
Walking trip to visit the fruit plantation and local noodle factory. Visit Binh Thuy communal house and Munir Ansay Pagoda - a Khmer pagoda, renowned for its unique structure. Have lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch we return to Saigon. Check in again hotel and free at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 11: Saigon – Flight to Siemreap – City Tour (B/L/D)
Upon arrival at Siemreap airport, meet and greet from our tour guide and driver then you will enjoy halfday city tour in Siem Reap, visit Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium. Angkor Wildlife is set to feature a 500m3 aquarium featuring freshwater species as well as a 600m3 saltwater aquarium. The main aquarium building will house freshwater species that are endemic to Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. There are also 10 hectares of outdoor animal exhibits and attractions set to include tigers, river otters, and crocodiles, and free for Shopping at Old Market. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant, overnight at Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siemreap – Angkor Tour (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning we will visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom including: Bayon views with Angkor Wat as the favorite monument among visitors. The two temples evoke similar aesthetic responses yet are different in purpose, design, architecture and decoration, Baphuon temple the world's biggest jigsaw puzzle, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King, and Ta Prohm temple. Have lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will process to visit the Main Angkor Wat, the biggest Hindu temple in the world and the one of the largest religious monument in the world. And then late afternoon go to view sunset at the top of Phnom Bakheng. Have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 13: Siemreap – Phnompenh (B)
Breakfast at hotel then transfer from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by coach (approximately 6 hours) or flight.
Pick up by our tour guide in Phnom Penh, start the tour to visit Toul Sleng Museum and the Central Market (Psah Thmey), a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewellery, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant, overnight at Phnom Penh.
Day 14: Phnomenh – City Tour (B/L/D)
Full day City tour in Phnom Penh, visit Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda sit side by side on the riverside, and while they are two separate complexes they are visited as one, starting with the Royal Palace and then continuing onto the Silver Pagoda. Approaching the complex you will notice the walls painted vivid yellow to represent Buddhism, and white for Hinduism, the two main faiths of Cambodia until they were combined into one by Jayavarman VII in the 12th century (Take photo outside), Statue of Preah Phirum Master OU (called Ngoy), Independent Monument was built in 1958 to celebrate Cambodia’s independence from French colonial rule, Victory Monument. Wat Phnom Wat Phnom ("Mountain Pagoda") is the heart of the city. At 27 metres above sea level, it is the highest point in the area. The huge clock, illuminated at night, on the base of the hill at the southern side, has become one of Phnom Penh's night-time landmarks, Statue of Yeay Penh or Grandma Daun Penh's statue joins to renovate the beauty of Phnom Penh and it shows the value of Cambodian women who helped to develop the society, Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni told hundreds of participants at the inauguration ceremony near Wat Phnom. Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit Killing Field Choeung Ek is Cambodia’s best known ‘Killing Field’, although many visitors do not realise that this was just one of the many that can be found scattered across the country, and the Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong). Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Phnompenh.
Day 15: Phnompenh – Flight to Vientiane (B)
Breakfast at hotel then transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane – Laos.
Upon arrival at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, transfer to your hotel in town (early check-in upon availability).
From its sleepy tuk-tuk drivers to its location on the right bank of the lumbering, lazy Mekong, this former French trading post is languid to say the least.
Indeed, despite being the capital and largest city of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, there's not a whole lot to do in Vientiane. But that is also, quite honestly, its selling point.
There is no activity planned for today, so you can stroll around the town for your own exploration. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 16: Vientiane Exploration – Buddha Park (B)
In the morning, we will first visit Wat Si Muang, which is very famous for its supernatural power.
After that drive to Buddha Park which takes around 45 minutes away. Also known as Xieng Khuan, this unusual park is filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues.
We then visit Lao Disable Women Development Center, which assist disable women to cope with their disability and advocate for their rights. Spend time watching the video and learn about the effort to earn their daily living. You can support them by buying some small handicrafts at the shop.
Start the afternoon with a visit to That Luang, the holiest site in Laos. Constructed by King Setthathirat in the 16th century, the temple is resplendent as the sun is shines upon its towering golden spire.
Then, enjoy a panoramic view over the city as you climb the stairs to the top of Patuxai, Vientiane’s own “Arc de Triomphe”.
Continue down Lane Xang Avenue the serene Wat Sisaket, the only temple left intact after the Siamese (Thai) invasion in 1828.
Continue on to the nearby Wat Phra Keo. Used as a religious museum, Wat Phra Keo displays a collection of both Lao and Khmer works of art.
End your tour of the capital along the banks of the Mekong River as the sun begins to set. Stroll along the river, stop to enjoy a cold drink, or sample a snack from one of the many local food stalls. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 17: Vientiane – Vang Vieng (B)
We leave the capital early for our journey northbound to Vang Vieng via the highway Vientiane - Vang vieng.
We will see some breathtaking scenery enroute as we pass through spectacular countryside towards the mountainous region.
We will arrive in Vang Vieng around noon.
In the afternoon, we start our board through paddy field areas heading to Tham Phoukham caves, where your breath will be taken away seeing the most beautiful and famous limestone cavern, surrounded by natural forests.
Along the way, you have chance to explore the local cultures by greeting the local villagers and learning about their daily lifestyle.
There is a small natural pool in front of the caves where you can take a swim to refresh yourself from the hot climate or you could explore the nearby area.
Transfer back to town, we will enjoy the leisurely boat along the Namsong River while admiring the sun setting behind the mountains. Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Distance: 160KM | 4-hour transfer.
Day 18: Vang Vieng – Xieng Khoang (B)
Today, we start exploring the town by visiting the most famous in Vang Vieng, the cave of Tham Jang, which was used in the early 19th century in defense against the Chinese invaders.
After that, we start our journey northbound to the impressive Xieng Khuang, which is very famous for its Plain of Jars, which we will visit the day after.
Along the way, it is our chance to admire the wonderful panoramic view over the mountainous area at the peak of Phouphiengpha. It is no doubt the most impressive experience of your tour.
From there, we will drive a bit further to the T-Junction in Phoukhoun, and take the right turn onto Xieng Khuang province.
After that, the road is getting a bit harder which includes some zigzagging mountain paths; and we will make some stop along the way to visit the local hill tribe villages, or to stretch your legs.
Arrive in Xieng Khuang late afternoon, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Phonsavanh.
Distance: 240KM | 6-7 hour transfer
Day 19: Plain of Jars – Muang Khoune (B)
Early morning, we visit the Central Market of Phonsavanh to watch the different hill tribe people barter and exchange merchandises.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a half day trip to Muang Khoune, the old provincial capital that was not been destroyed by the American bombings during the secret war.
Muang Khoun is home to unique sitting giant Buddha as well of some old pagodas that lies in ruins. The foundation and columns of Wat Pia Wat are still standing and close to this site, there is also an old 30m stupa constructed in the Lan Xang/Lanna period.
In the afternoon, visit the thought-provoking UXO Information Centre, run by British organisation MAG (Mines Advisory Group) that's been helping to clear Laos' unexploded ordnance since 1994.
The centre's information displays underline the enormity of the bomb drops, and there are also examples of (defused) UXO to ponder.
Xieng Khuang is famous for its mysterious Plain of Jars, a huge archaeological complex littered with mysterious 2000 years old stone jars sized from 70cm up to 3 or 4 meters.
You have time today to visit the plain of jars Site 1, the biggest and closest to town that opened for tourists.
Attention: The Plain of Jars has been heavily bombed during the war and you have to respect all the signs and stay along the defined trails due to bombs, UXO and landmines.
Spend the rest of the day wander around the small town of Xieng Khuang to admire the life of local people. Then return to Xieng Khouang and overnight.
Day 20: Xieng Khuang – Luang Prabang (B)
After breakfast, depart to Luang Prabang via the windy zigzagging mountain paths, enjoying the splendid natural scenery of the mountains, the forest and landscape.
The roads are well paved along the way for a smooth journey; we pass some stunning landscape scenery with a mixture of steep terraced fields and hill villages, we take a few photo stops at some small hill tribe village en route.
Each hill tribe village in Laos has a different feel, some are more prosperous than others but all have plenty of life.
We will make a shot stop at Ban Phoudam village, where we can see the two hill tribe minorities of H’Mong and Khamu living in harmony, before driving to the photo stop at Ban Kiew Nya for the panoramic view prior to reaching Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Distance: 265KM | 7-8 hour transfer
Day 21: Ancient City – Mekong River – Pak Ou Caves (B)
After breakfast, you will first visit Royal Palace Museum, which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family.
We then embark on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine.
On arrival back in the city, we will visit the old Wat Sene and the nearby magnificent Wat Xiengthong a superb piece of Lao temple architecture, which presents a sweeping two-tiered roof and ornate mosaics including a beautiful ‘tree of life ‘glass montage on the rear temple wall.
If time permits, we will drive out of the city to visit Ban Xangkhong, the Thai Lue village, which is famous for its arts and crafts. We also visit the nearby village of Ban Xienglek specializing in making the traditional Saa paper.
You can either get to the nearby village and join a petanque game with the local team.
Late afternoon, we will make a stop at Wat Prabath to admire the sunset; this is the ideal place to catch the last beauty of the day.
The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely collection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Tip: If you are fond of various ethnic cultures, you can visit Traditional Art and Ethnology Center (closed on Monday).
Day 22: Morning Alms Giving – Kuang Si Waterfall – Buffalo Farm (B)
Wake up as the sun rises, we will prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving, which dates to the 14th century. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.
We then visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace. Just set on the ground, the local people come here to barter their day’s catch from rice, to vegetable, to fish, or chicken.
After breakfast at the hotel, we ascend the 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River.
If time permits, we will visit UXO Visitor Center (closed on Saturday, and Sunday), where you can find the documentation about the secret war in Laos.
Then transfer to the Buffalo Dairy Farm on the way to Kuang Si waterfalls, which offer the fun and interesting experience.
From there, continue further to the beautiful Kuang Si, which is the biggest waterfall in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. The pools also make great swimming holes and are very popular with both tourists and locals
There is also the chance to walk to the nearby village of Ban Thapene, and explore the hidden waterfalls, which is rarely visited by other tourists
If you wish, take a short visit to the Bear Rescue Center, which houses a couple of dozen animals rescued from the hands of poachers and traffickers.
On the way back to Luang Prabang, we will take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, set serenely close to the Mekong, this beautiful, traditionally styled workshop, where weavers, spinners and batik makers produce top-quality fabrics, offers free tours every half-hour. This is also one of the best spots to admire the sunset in Luang Prabang. Transfer back to your hotel late afternoon. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 23: Luang Prabang – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel then you are free to stroll around the town for your own exploration before taking the departure flight. End of trip!.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payments
A deposit of 30% of the total booking is required within three days from the date of confirmation. The balance payment is due at 45 days prior to tour commencement date. For bookings made less than 45 days, full payment is required. Bookings will be cancelled if payments are not received by the due date(s). Payment can be made via bank transfer or western union. Any bank charges must be covered by the customer.
Cancellations
Confirmed bookings must be cancelled by the party leader in writing (by email) and this will only be effective once the written cancellation is confirmed by Bloom Travel. Cancellation by the party leader will be subject to the following cancellation fees from the date the written cancellation is received:
- More than 45 days prior to tour date - 10% of total cost
- Between 31 and 45 days prior to tour date - 25% of total cost
- Between 16 and 30 days prior to tour date - 50% of total cost
- Within 15 days prior to 05 days - 70% of total cost
- Within 03 days prior to tour date or “no show” - 100% of total cost
Amendments
Any amendments to confirmed bookings must be requested by the party leader in writing (by email). Whilst we will endeavor to assist, we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. If we can make the requested change, you will be provided with a quote detailing any additional costs, whether incurred due to your amendments, imposed by a Third-Party Travel Provider, or our amendment fees. In all cases, the following amendment fees shall apply:
• If amendments are made more than 45 days prior to scheduled tour date: the first amendment is free of charge. From the second amendment: a charge of U$80 per amendment for a short trip (less than 7 nights) or U$150 per amendment for a long journey (7 nights or more).
• If amendments are made within 45 days prior to scheduled tour date: the above standard cancellation fees will apply, and full price will apply to new travel arrangements. We will not charge any cancellation/amendment fees if it is due to a breach by us of any of our obligations or due to our fault; or if the Third-Party Travel Provider amends your booking through no fault of the customer.
